Crazy about Confectionery Packaging Materials & Designs Packaging

"It's the same old tissue, honey, it doesn't make a distinction, ok? It's still going to work the exact same method", my exasperated partner hissed into my ear as I got containers after cartons of some 'designer' tissue. DESIGNER TISSUE! Hah, can you even hear me say that? I can't think I really wrote 'designer tissue'. Yes, for a graphic designer and writer who understands all about the kind of effort one puts into packaging and branding products, I sure fell for it. All the hoopla. The shenanigans. The 'draw 'em in with great copy and fab color combo'. Hey, I am still a customer, bear in mind that. I am entitled to succumb to nice product packaging, I have a dominating right to be human.

However they are so pretty ... the product packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature lover' product packaging, the 'fruity' packaging, the 'lady on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' product packaging. I grabbed 4 of each design bundles and made a run for the counter with them with my shouting kids and exasperated husband pursuing me in slow movement. It was definitely a 'die-hard' moment. You know, when the hero is running away from a lot of wild bad guys with gatling gun, and they're shooting at your feet or something ... and there's a surge behind you ... and whatever takes place in ssslllloooowwwww mmmmooooottttttiiiioooonnnnn.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with expensive packaging styles on them. I liked the packaging designs so much, after using up all the tissues in the boxes, I would cut out the styles and position it into my 'should keep for reference' clear folder. I don't keep a lot of things in there due to the fact that I am pretty selective about the designs that I like, but these packaging designs made the cut.

You see, this is the kind of thing that occurs when you put some effort into making your packaging style. Yeah, we all have this in the back of our heads ... "Hey, it's PACKAGING! They're going to THROW the PACKAGING away.

But this is what I need to tell you, as a graphic designer and customer. The more effort you put into developing your packaging, more clients will stop and take an appearance at your product packaging or what's inside the product packaging. Now, does it make good sense for me to say now that when they take and stop notification of your product packaging, your chance of getting them to buy your item increases? Precisely.

You see, the function of packaging is to grab the customer's attention. And without an electrifying product packaging, customers are going to walk past the stacks and loads of other competitor products ... and yours ... without even understanding you're there! Your item is sitting there on a rack, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a nice packaging. Once they take a look and stop, you've won the first round.

Consider it!
